OBJECTIVE:

Redesign currency and consider the accessibility, usability, and disabled access. Also consider the imagery being used and what story it can portray to your audience.

SOLUTION:

When deciding to redesign the American dollar, I had three goals in mind to achieve. First was to make the bill more accommodating for people with disabilities by using different colors for each of the dollar amounts and varying the length of each bill. Second, I wanted to create more visual diversity on the bill to create a stronger representation of our country. I used landmarks from across the country in varying states to show the beauty and wide range of diversity within America. Lastly, I wanted to design the bill in both a vertical and a horizontal format to create an easier usability for consumers.
